At The End Of The Day Tate Locke Loves Hockey

If you take a quick look at the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) archives, it will show that Tate Locke, formerly of the Concordia University of Edmonton Thunder men’s hockey team, is still the ACAC all-time leading scorer in ACAC hockey history with 188 points (58 goals 130 assists) accumulated during 107 regular season games from 1997-2001.
2019 CCAA Hall of Fame Inductee: Laurie Hockridge

Laurie Hockridge, who led the Lethbridge Kodiaks to back-to-back CCAA National Championship titles in Women’s Basketball, will be inducted into the CCAA Hall of Fame in the Athlete Category.
2019 CCAA Hall of Fame Inductee: Dr. Lana Nicoll

Dr. Lana Nicoll (nee Common), a three-time CCAA All-Canadian in Women’s Volleyball, will be inducted into the CCAA Hall of Fame in the Athlete Category. Nicoll starred for the Grant MacEwan Community College (now MacEwan University) Griffins for four seasons. She was named a CCAA All-Canadian in 1995, 1997 and 1998 and earned CCAA Academic All-Canadian honours in 1994, 1995, 1997 and 1998 as she worked toward a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science and eventually a Bachelor of Physical Education.

Wen Wang, who earned three consecutive CCAA Badminton National Championship gold medals, will be inducted into the CCAA Hall of Fame in the Athlete Category.
2019 CCAA Hall of Fame Inductee: Brock Davidiuk

Brock Davidiuk, who led the Red Deer Kings to back-to-back National Championships in CCAA Men’s Volleyball, will be inducted into the CCAA Hall of Fame in the Athlete Category. Davidiuk led the Kings to CCAA titles in 2002 and 2003, his only two seasons at Red Deer College.

Janelle Neyron is pretty humble when talking about her past sports accomplishments. Graduating from Mennonite Brethren Collegiate in Winnipeg, Manitoba, she calmly mentions that the Hawks, in her Grade 11 year , won the Manitoba High Schools Athletic Association (MHSAA) Girl’s AAAA Volleyball provincials.
