2022 ACAC Badminton Championships

Olds College

Olds College is honoured to host the 2022 Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) Badminton Championships. The top badminton athletes from Alberta will compete to determine this year's ultimate players and teams. The top players will continue on to CCAA Badminton National Championships hosted by NAIT on March 18 - 20, 2022.

Ralph Klein Centre (4500 - 50 St.)

The ACAC Badminton Championship will be hosted in the Ralph Klein Centre which is the home to the Olds College Broncos. The Ralph Klein Centre has three full court gymnasiums, each designed for multi-sport use and nine badminton courts. It is also equipped with retractable bleachers with capacity for over 2000 spectators, and a state of the art sound system. All three courts are surrounded by a second floor 200-metre three lane track, and four dressing rooms.

In the 2022 ACAC Badminton Championships, the ACAC is transitioning from a cancelled season in 2020-21 to a unique season, following COVID regulations in an attempt to have ACAC sports.

The ACAC will respect the policy of each host and campuses for spectators, as well as COVID restrictions and protocols.

BANQUET & AWARD PRESENTATIONS

To limit the amount of players/teams congregating in one location, the banquet will be suspended.  Award winners and player recognitions will be announced on the web and through social media.
