McMillan's overtime winner leads Ooks to finals

The NAIT Ooks are heading to the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) Championship final. When the third and final game of the best-of-three semi-final against the RDC Queens went into double-overtime, NAIT's Jordan McMillan played heroe. In a game of inches, the second-year forward capitalized on an offensive opportunity that sent her team to face-off against the three-time defending champion MacEwan University Griffins for gold.

Special teams played a significant role in game one of the best-of-three semi-final between the RDC Queens and NAIT Ooks. Three power play goals were scored and NAIT’s Megan Leblanc recorded four goals en route to a 5-2 road victory.
