In the opening game of day 2 at the 2016-17 Square One ACAC Men's Basketball Championships, the Lakeland Rustlers used a strong start to defeat the Concordia Thunder 68-57. Leading by as many as 24 points, the Rustlers were led by Terrell Murdaugh who had 8 of his team's first 10 points. Murdaugh finished with 14 points and Jonathan Sappleton added 12. The Thunder were led by Euriah Pemberton with 12 points and 6 rebounds and Ryan McLaren who had 11 points and 6 rebounds. Lakeland will play in the 5th/6th game tomorrow at 3pm.
