Edmonton, AB (March 8, 2017) – The Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) is proud to announce Bre Langley and Ryan Edgar of the SAIT Trojans have been named the ACAC Indoor Track Coaches of the Year.

The pair are in their second season as co-head coaches of the Trojans' indoor track team. This season, Langley and Edgar led the Trojans to the school's first men's team title since the sport was introduced to the ACAC in the 2013/14 season. As a whole, the Trojans recorded 11 medals at the ACAC Championships, breaking the previous school record of six set just last season.

"Ryan and Bre have worked tirelessly all season to achieve the results they did this weekend," said Wade Kolmel, SAIT Trojans Athletics and Recreation Directory. "Their knowledge of the sport, and enthusiasm to help their athletes not only win medals, but to reach personal bests and show improvement every time out is a testament to them as coaches and as leaders in our community. The SAIT Trojans Athletics and Recreation Department congratulate Bre and Ryan on this achievement."

In the fall, the two also orchestrated a men's team cross-country running championship in Grande Prairie, Alta.
