ACAC Running Room Grand Prix #1 Recap
Hosted by Concordia University of Edmonton at Gold Park, Edmonton
On September 6th, the Concordia University of Edmonton Thunder hosted the ACAC Grand Prix #1 at Gold Bar Park in Edmonton, where a clear sky and cool morning gave way to rising temperatures as the races commenced. Despite the challenging course, athletes demonstrated remarkable perseverance and determination, sprinting fiercely through the final stretch to the finish line. Their efforts were truly commendable, showcasing dedication and resilience that earned them well-deserved recognition.
The event featured an exciting lineup of three races, beginning with the open run at 11 am, followed by the women's 6km race at noon, followed by the men's 8km starting at 1 pm, providing thrilling athletic performances throughout the day.
