The Keyano Huskies Women's Volleyball team remained perfect on home court Friday, sweeping the Briercrest College Clippers in straight-sets (25-19, 25-20, 25-16) at the Syncrude Sport & Wellness Centre in Fort McMurray, Alta.

Battling through each of the first two sets, the Huskies found a way to come out on top. The third set was a breeze for the Huskies, who capitalized off errors and big-time blocks from their side of the court to secure the points advantage. 

Tyneille Neufeld led the Huskies with 16 kills while Karlene Kaminski added 13 and Megan Polant rounded out a trio of double-digit performers with 11. Julia Beer and Faith Buhler each had nine kills to lead the Clippers, one ahead of teammate Kelsey Simms, who had eight to her credit. 

Sofia Janzen came up huge at the net again with six blocks to earn Player of the Game honours for the home side. Buhler earned the honours for the visiting Clippers. 

Now 8-0 at home, the Huskies will have their first-ever chance at a perfect home record when they host the Medicine Hat College Rattlers Saturday at the Syncrude Sport & Wellness Centre. First serve is at 6:00 p.m. with Senior Night presentations to follow.
