The Lethbridge College Kodiaks completed a weekend sweep, defeating the Olds College Broncos in four sets at the Ralph Klein Centre on Saturday.

Eryka Woods (10 kills, two service aces) earned Player of the Game honours for the Kodiaks (2-1), while Sarah Merkosky (seven kills, four digs) was named Player of the Game for the Broncos (0-2).

The match started out with a competitive opening, which the Kodiaks took by a 27-25 margin. The Broncos battled back to level the match at one set apiece with a 25-22 win, only for the Kodiaks to seize momentum with a 25-16 third set victory before wrapping the match up with a 25-23 win in the fourth.

The Kodiaks will enjoy a bye week before heading north to battle the Northwestern Polytechnic Wolves on Nov. 4 at 6 p.m., while the Broncos will enter a home-and-home with the Ambrose University Lions, with the first leg being contested in Calgary on Oct. 28 at 6 p.m.
