Briercrest Clippers Sweep the Ooks

In Game Two of the 2020 South Country Co-op, the South's number one seeded Briercrest Clippers knocked off the North number four seed the Nait Ooks in Straight sets.  The clippers came out flying and dominated the first set 25-9.  Nait was determined to make a game of it and fought hard in the second set before dropping it 25-20.  In third set, the Ooks showed what they were made of.  The grabbed a lead by the midway point of the set.  Briercrest turned it on like the powerhouse that they are and fought all the way back and took the set 25-21.  With the win, the Clippers set up a semi-final showdown against the King's University Eagles at 6pm tomorrow night.  The Ooks will play against the Ambrose Lions at 1pm.  The Elite Promo ACAC Athletes of the game were #6 Victoria Ringuette from the Ooks and #15 Reece Harder from the Clippers
