In a close match-up, the University of Alberta Augustana Vikings sweep the Grande Prairie Regional College Wolves in the first weekend of play of the Winter 2020 semester. 

The nail-bitter started with a close set of 25-23, going to the Vikings who followed up with with a second set win with the help of #14 Lauren Van Dyke's 5 serve run.

The third set went to the Wolves in a tough 25-20 battle.

Though the fourth set saw Wolves #5 Heather Holtz with 5 point serving streak, they ultimately fell short with Augustana taking the match-point 25-23.

Several big hitters on both teams made for intense rallies throughout the match, including Vikings #8 Shaelyn Boyes with 14 kills, and Wolves #3 Megan Fowler with 13 kills
