EDMONTON, ALTA. - The NAIT Ooks women's volleyball team got the monkey off their backs as they defeated the Keyano Huskies 3-1 on Friday night in the NAIT Gymnasium, solidifying their first win of the season. 

The NAIT Ooks came out rolling with a convincing 25-20 victory in the first set, followed by a 25-19 second set win. The Keyano Huskies were able to bounce back in the third set defeating the Ooks 25-19. NAIT would then put away the match as they claimed the fourth 25-23.

The NAIT Ooks move to 1-12 and sit 7th in the ACAC north division, while the Keyano Huskies fall to 5-8 and sit 5th.
