EDMONTON, ALTA. - The NAIT Ooks women's volleyball team fell in straight sets to the Kings Eagle (25-12, 25-11, 25-23) on Friday night in the NAIT Gymnasium.
The King's Eagles came out strong taking the first two sets 25-12 and 25-11. The Ooks would put up a good fight in the third set but ultimately fell 25-23, losing the match 3-0.
Jayden Bontkes led the attack for the Eagles with 9 kills while Trina Ewashkiw added 16 assists. NAIT's Karly Kupka had 8 kills while Emma Norenburg had 11 assists.
The two teams will now rematch tomorrow at King's at 6:00 pm.
