The Rustlers welcomed the Portage Voyageurs to VLA field on Saturday the 21st, the Rustlers scored early with only 8 minutes into the game a Tiegan McDonald broke open the scoring for Lakeland. Lakeland would do a good offensive job but the Voyageurs held there ground they were able to congest the middle of the field and keep Lakeland on the outside for the most part. Rustlers Davis Bone scored Three goals while being a strong leader for them. Shantae Bourassa was a key part of the Voyageurs defense as she was very crucial in communicating and allowing her team to reset and get looks at the ball. The final Score ended up being 7-0 for the home team. Lakeland was able to get a lot of new faces into the game such as Ophelia Gasser, who scored late in the second half.
