After lots of rain Friday night and flash flooding into Saturday morning, Pomeroy Field was extremely wet for our Soccer Matches. With the help of staff, referees and KINGS men players, we shoveled the water into buckets and managed to get the field playable. About 100 people braved the chilly winds to watch the 2nd game of the Wovles Home Opener weekend. There was lots of back and forth on Saturday through the wet fields, however we managed to see goals at the 1st minute and 89th minute. Goals from Kalie Maskel and Madi Gillepse, KINGS then GPRC. Player of the Game for GPRC was awarded to #4 Sydney Kelly and from KINGS #6 Taylor Hycrun.
