MHC Defeats Lakeland 5-0 in their home opener.

In Medicine Hat today, the Medicine Hat Collge Rattlers scored early and often to defeat the visiting Lakeland Rustlers 5-0 in the season opening game for each team.  Led by goals in the first half by Jordyn Bell, Francesca Schottner and Jaydn Fode, the Rattlers went into half time leading 3-0.  Late goals in the second half by Rachel Dorais and Darragh O'Fuarthain led to the 5-0 final score.  Rustlers goalie Danielle Blacklock made 12 saves and the Rattlers Kassidy Suberlak posted a clean sheet making 1 save.  Lakeland's player of the game was #6 Olivia Lay and the player of the game for the Rattlers was #7 Kaylei Hole.  This is the first ACAC win for the Rattlers first year head coach Travis Hyde.
