Brittney Savard Named 2017-18 Women’s Hockey Top Scholastic Achiever

Edmonton, AB (March 1, 2018) – The Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) is proud to announce the selection of Brittney Savard of the NAIT Ooks as the 2017-18 ACAC women's hockey top scholastic achiever. Brittney, who hails from Port Alberni, BC, obtained a 3.9 in the Personal Fitness Trainer program at NAIT during the first semester.

Brittney helped lead the NAIT Ooks to a 2nd place regular season finish and was selected to the ACAC All-Conference team. She finished 7th in league scoring this season with 15 points.

NAIT Ooks women's hockey head coach Deanna Martin had the following to say about her student-athlete.  "Brittney is a strong leader; she exemplifies Ook Values both on and off the ice."
