Lightning Start New Year off Right

The St. Mary's Lightning started the new year off right, and cruised to victory over the Sait Trojans with a score of 76-43. The Lightning started off the first quarter with a 20-9 lead, and never looked back, going into halftime with a score of 48-20, with shooting over 50% on the game. The Lightning did cool off though, but managed to maintain a good and comfortable lead until the final buzzer. The ACAC Players of the Game were the Trojan's Skyler MacDonald who had 7 points and 4 rebounds, and the Lightning's Emily Wagner who had 25 points, 9 rebounds, and 6 assists. The Lightning (7-5) take on the Trojans (3-8)again tomorrow in the final game of their three game series at the Sait Campus Center.
