GPRC Host Double Header Against KINGS Eagles

GPRC Host Double Header Against KINGS Eagles

The Wolves welcomed The KINGS Eagles to their gym for a pair of games this weekend.

The Eagles put the first 2 points on the board by #6 Kenna Jacobson. GPRC draws 2 fouls earlier and goes up 3-2. A fast break layup by #14 Caitlin Paul quickly turns the score to 5-2. The relentless Eagles offense doesn't quit, a steal, and a fast break by #4 Juliana Middel and the Kings are up 10-9. Eagles keep shooting and dropping buckets, making the score 13-9. Caitlin Paul answers back and ties the game at 13-13. Another steal and fast break puts the Eagles up 2. The quarter ended 20-24 Eagles.

It was all Eagles offense in the 2nd quarter. Half way through the 2nd the Eagles score 14 points to the Wolves 4. A time out called by the Wolves, to try to generate the offense. Half time ends in Eagles favor, 52:33

The crowed was entertained by the Wolves Women's Soccer Team, scrimmaging against the AMA School Patrollers at half time.

Wolves need a big 3rd quarter and some great offense to get back into the game. Eagles had a comfortable 19 point lead. The Eagles scored the first 6 points before the Wolves responded. The Wolves couldn't generate enough offense and fell behind 81:45 at the end of the 3rd.

4th quarter was all Eagles as they put another 28 points on the board and the game ends 109:57 for the Eagles.

Player of the Game for the KINGS Eagles was #5 Amy Jakubec and for the GPRC Wolves #20 Dominica Onun.
