Big Third Quarter Push by Lightning Seals Victory

The St. Mary's University Lightning took on the Medicine Hat College Rattlers, coming away with the 72-36 win on Friday night. A 24-22 halftime score in favor of the Lightning, a big 28-2 third quarter by the Lightning helped them push their lead to 28, and they would hold this lead until the final buzzer. The Lightning were led by Hannah Helton's 18 points, Emily Wagner's 17, and Juhee Anderson's 16 on 37% shooting for the game. The Rattlers were led by Morgan Muir with her 15 points and 9 rebounds, with the team shooting 22.4% for the game. The Lightning now have a 4-3 record on the season, while the Rattlers sit at 3-4.
