Rustlers Fight off Huskies Comeback

The women's Rustlers played host to the Keyano Huskies on a highly anticipated game on November 9th. The Rustlers got out to an early lead in the first quarter giving them the momentum they needed to get ahead in the game. The Rustlers would only build on this lead but not without some resistance from the Huskies. The Rustlers would head into the locker room at half with a 37-25 lead over the Huskies. The Rustlers would try and slow the pace down of the game thus leading to the lowest-scoring quarter so far with a Rustlers lead heading into the 4th the Huskies weren't ready to go down without a fight. The Huskies would pull the game back within striking distance with 5 minutes left to play. With each coach receiving a tech early into the game the Huskies coach would get his second ultimately removing him from the game. With so much emotion in the game, the final seconds would prove crucial for the rustlers. When the final dust settled the Rustlers walked out with a 67-63 win.
