CALGARY, ALTA., (March 2, 2018) — The Medicine Hat College Rattlers defeated the SAIT Trojans 50-42 in their semifinal game Friday evening at the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) Women's Basketball Championship at SAIT.

 

Courtney Henry scored 11 points while teammate Kennedy Werre added five points and 15 rebounds to lead the Rattlers to victory. Alicia Tan responded with 19 points in a losing effort for the Trojans

 

Sheridan Propenia was named the Earl's Kitchen and Bar Player of the Game for Med Hat. Alicia Tan was named SAIT's Player of the Game.

 

The victory sends the Rattlers to the championship final tomorrow evening at 8pm against the St. Mary's University Lightning. SAIT falls to the bronze medal game at 5pm against Lakeland College.
