The Medicine Hat Rattlers and the Ambrose Lions faced off at 6pm in Medicine Hat. Hoping to avenge a loss last night, the Lions came out hard from the tip off. A physically smaller team, the lions went to their outside shooting early in the game to some success. Up 5 points off the opening tip the Lions lead was short lived. Kennedy Were, Kendell Kuntz, and Sheridan Popenia, all contributed early to battle back and take the lead quite quickly. A fast-paced affair, the action moved up and down the court, both teams trying a fast break and a press defense saw the pace pushed and both teams using substitutions regularly. The size and shooting from the rattlers was too much for the smaller Lions defense and the Rattlers Jumped out to a halftime Lead of 48-24

The second half was more of the same. The Rattlers seemed to score by committee with points coming from almost every player. Moving the ball quickly around the key opened up lanes and space in which the rattlers capitalized. The Lions had no quit even down by more than 20, they fought hard and nothing was given easily. Despite being undersized their defense was fierce and was still causing turnovers. In the end the Rattlers were too much on this day winning in the end 49-86.
