The Ambrose Lions Men's and Women's Basketball teams had a tough matchup tonight in the Lion's Den against the visiting Lethbridge Kodiaks.

The Lethbridge Women's team currently sits at the top of the ACAC South with a record of 9-0 while the Ambrose Women's team sits at the bottom of the ACAC South with a record of 1-8. Paige Goertzen shined as the lone bright spot for the Lion's tonight as they fell to the Kodiaks 96-41. Goertzen finished with 8 points and 7 rebounds and received Player of the Game honours.

The Men's Basketball team played a hard fought battle tonight, breaking down in the fourth quarter and falling to the Kodiak's 89-72. Marcus Harris had a strong Performance tonight, scoring 19 points and adding 6 rebounds. Unfortunately, the Kodiak's big men proved too much for the Lion's to handle. Harris received Player of the Game honours and the Lion's now sit with a record of 1-9.

Both the Men's and Women's teams will look to take revenge next Saturday against the Olds Broncos here in the Lion's Den.
