MVB | Kodiaks Sweep Huskies

January 13th- The Kodiaks looked to build a bigger gap between themselves and the 2^nd place team in the south division as the Keyano Huskies made the trip south to attempt to grab a pair of points to help with playoff contention.

The Kodiaks and Huskies were hot right off the start looking for ways to jump ahead and set the tone for the 1^st set. Keyano and Lethbridge were both on their A game on defense and from the attack line, however the Kodiaks were able to turn the afterburners on to give that extra boost to secure the 1^st set taking the Huskies 25-19.

The Kodiaks stayed hot throughout the 2^nd set carrying their momentum from the 1^st. Kodiaks Outside Nolan Moes was almost unstoppable in his path of destruction acquiring 4 kills and 3 aces. The Kodiaks stayed strong at the net keeping the Huskies at ease while Lethbridge pushed to the finish taking the 2^nd set 25-21.

The Kodiaks got caught behind the Huskies early in the set as they trailed closely behind Keyano throughout the 3^rd. The Huskies fought back to keep their lead of the Kodiaks but was not enough to contain Lethbridge as they found the extra booster to jump ahead and gain the lead which would thrust the Kodiaks to 28-26 3^rd set victory to complete the sweep over the Keyano Huskies.
