Rattlers Split weekend with Trojans

The SAIT Trojans headed into the Snake Pit to face off with the Medicine Hat College Rattlers. The Rattlers were looking for revenge and a split on the weekend after a bad loss in calgary. The home town crowd seemed to affect the game early with loud chants throwing off the SAIT service game early. Medicine Hat was able to take a 15-13 lead midway through the set forcing a SAIT timeout. They took great advantage and were able to go up 18-17 quickly. The back and forth continued with SAIT slightly extending their lead and winning a tight set 25-23 

The Rattlers came out in the second set looking sharp. Taking an early 7-4 lead SAIT had to burn an early timeout maintaining their momentum the Rattlers continued to expand the lead going up 15-10 able to cruise for the set the Rattlers handily took the second set 25-19

The Third set started with a quick 3-0 Medicine Hat lead before SAIT could respond with 2 of their own. As the set settled in the teams traded points and side-outs as the score crept up. MHC opened up a 15-11 lead midway through the set. Once again the Rattlers refused to relinquish their lead holding on and taking a 25-19 victory in the set. 

The early part of the fourth set was very balanced with the teams trading points early. Once again MHC rode the crowds energy to push them to a 17-11 lead after 2 aces. This forced the Trojans to take a timeout. MHC scored another ace out of the break to go up 18-11 before sait could respond now 19-12 the Trojans burned their second timeout. The teams traded side-outs as the score moved up closer to match point. The Rattlers continued to pull  the fourth set 25- 18
