Ambrose clipped by Briercrest

CARONPORT, SK- The Clippers and the Lions played each other Friday, January 17 in the evening, the outcome was a Briercrest win in three sets.

 

Starting the first set, Briercrest pushed early on bringing them ahead 15-11 midway through. The Lions made a push to come back but despite their efforts Briercrest took the set 25- 18.

 

In the second set, Briercrest continued with their push bringing the set to 15-10 midway through. Ambrose tried to bring the set close but unfortunately wasn't able to with Briercrest winning the second set 25-20.           

 

In what would be the last set of the match, the Clippers got ahead 15-12. Despite the Lions effort the Clippers came out with a 25-20 win in a 3 set sweep for Briercrest. The set scores being; 25-18, 25-20 and 25-20.

 

Player of the game for the Clippers was #1 Jeremy Martens, attaining 1 ace, 3 blocks and 30assists. And for the Lions #5 Adrian Stanberg with 9 digs, 1 ace and 10 kills.
