EDMONTON, Alta. - The NAIT Ooks men's volleyball team defeated the Lakeland Rustlers 3-1 on Friday night in the NAIT Gymnasium. 

The undefeated NAIT Ooks came out flying on Friday night, taking a 2-0 lead following a XX and a XX set win. The Rustlers managed to slow the bleeding as they took the third set 25-22, handing the Ooks their first set loss of the 2019 season. The Ooks responded strongly with a 25-21 fourth set win, giving them the victory.

"winning an ugly win is something we have to embrace more as a team. A win is a win, even if it's not perfect. Trust the process," said NAIT head coach Greg Gulash after the match.
