Set 1 Keyano 25 Concordia 23
Although the smallest player on the court, Thunders' Daril Avila 5-foot-10 keeps his team ahead for majority of the set with his high-flying play. Down 20-18 Huskies coach Keegan Kuhr calls timeout. Led by the Brazilian Blizzard – rookies Joao Cunha 6-foot-8 and Athus Silva 6-foot-6 – they record back-to-back kills to tie the game 21-21.
Set 2 Keyano 25 Concordia 23
Huskies' Don Campbell with a huge BANGO make it 16-13 but mental errors late in the set allow the Thunder back in the contest to take an 18-16 lead. A Trey Weinmeier kill secures the win.
Set 3 Keyano 25 Concordia 17
Huskies up 13-7 in a nondescript third set as the Thunder take a timeout. Alex Andryszewski with some nice bumps for the Huskies off hard serves or spikes.
