Lakeland Rustlers take an exciting win over the visiting Concordia Thunder

The Rusters came out to a slow start in the first set against the Thunder. The match looked to be an easy win for Thunder, however, the Rustlers were able to creep back and put pressure on the Thunder late in the first set. Thunder were able to keep their lead and the Rustlers lose the first set 22-25. The ustlers take the momentum for the end of the first to start the second set. The energry from the Rustlers carried through out the set and were able to take an easy set win off the Thunder, 25-16. In the thrid it was a back and forth game bewtween the Rustlers and Thunder both teams struggled with errors. The Rustlers were able to hold the lead and win the third set 25-22, great effort from the Thunder to return the pressure they had received from the Rustlers in the first set. Going into the fourth lead changes happened almost back to back. Both teams were able to go on small runs. Errors would hurt the Rustlers in the fourth, they lose the fourth 23-25, sending them into the fifth and final set to determine the win. The fifth was an exciting set as it was down to the very end. The Rustlers started off strong with a couple point lead, this would not last long as they went back and forth till the Thunder went on a small run taking the lead.
