Kodiaks sweep Lions

The Lethbridge Kodiaks made their way confidently not having lost a game this season, while the Lions were hoping to upset the heavy favorites in front of their hope crowd. Unfortunately it was not meant to be as too many serving and attacking errors did the Lions in.  While the first 2 sets saw the Kodiaks take control and not worry about short runs by the Lions, the 3rd set saw Ambrose put on the pressure late leading 21-20. However after a timeout by head coach Greg Gibos the Kodiaks went on a run of their own playing clean volleyball winning 25-21. Brayden Nowosad was awarded the Player of the Game for his energy he brought to the floor while steady Libero Matthew Primrose won the recognition for the Kodiaks.
