Rattlers and Broncos play to 2-2 draw

On a beautiful Sunday afternoon, the Medicine Hat College Rattlers played host to the visiting Olds College Broncos in men's ACAC soccer action.  Before a large crowd on a sun soaked field, the teams battled and finished tied 2-2.  The Rattlers opened the scoring in the 39th minute on a beautiful header off a corner kick by Mizuki Ozawa.  They added to their lead in the 45th minute when Felix Danquah received a beautiful pass from Arlind Musliu to tkae a 2-0 lead in to the break.  Olds came out hard after the intermission and were rewarded in the 54th minute when captain Valentin Kirchner potted his first of the game.  Just seven minutes later, Kirchner equalized for the Broncos.  Back and forth action closed out the game which ended in a draw at the final whistle.  The ACAC Players of the game were #8 Abu Bangara from Olds and #3 Filip Kopriva from Medicine Hat.  Both teams close the weekend with identical 0-1-2 records.
