Men's Soccer Huskies power past Wolves in home opener

The Keyano Huskies Men's Soccer team rallied in a big way with four goals in a 13-minute span Saturday to top the visiting Northwest Polytechnic Wolves 4-1 at SMS Equipment Stadium inside Shell Place in Fort McMurray, Alta. 

Michael Authenac put the visitors up 1-0 in the 53rd minute after a scoreless first half that featured several close chances for the Huskies. 

The Huskies continued to press and were rewarded off the head of Louis Goldbrunner in the 77th minute. 

The following minute, James Bartha put the Huskies up for good while goals in the 85th minute by Karl Tronche and Bartha's second of the game in the 90th minute confirmed the win. 

Collecting three assists and coming close to potting goals of his own, Hafid Arellano claimed Player of the Game honours while NWP goalkeeper Evan Doerksen earned the honours for his side. 

McMurrayite Corbin Cyprien collected his first home victory as a member of his hometown Huskies.
