Coming off their first ever ACAC Outdoor Soccer victory last night vs the Medicine Hat Rattlers, the Ambrose Lions Men's Soccer team looked to carry over the momentum and confidence they picked up last night from their historic win, however tonight the Kodiaks would be too strong for the Lions, winning 5 – 0. The Kodiaks would score early and often as they would quickly bring the Ambrose team back down from their emotional high of last night. The Lethbridge Kodiaks would take advantage of the Lions mistakes early and often as it only took #10 Wilson Ntignee 5 min to score his first of the game past Ambrose keeper, Jared Zimmer, thanks to a well-timed and accurate cross by teammate Taylor Laviolette. While not for a lack of effort from the Ambrose Soccer Team, Lethbridge worked extremely well together throughout the game, limiting their shots on goal to just 2. By the end of the night, Wilson Ntignee managed to score a hat-trick, scoring in the 6th minute, 29th minute and 88th minute. Fellow teammates, Jimmy Bukuru and Ben Knight also netted goals in the 74th and 81st minutes respectfully. While the Lions did play extremely aggressive in the 2nd half leading to a couple extra Lethbridge goals, the Kodiaks deserved the win after playing a very strong game as a full unit. Players of the Game were, for the Kodiaks Taylor Laviolette, and for the Ambrose Lions, Regan McCaffrey. The Lions get a quick turnaround to lick their wounds before they play host to SAIT this Tuesday at 8:00pm
