Second half goals lead the Rattlers over the Broncos 2-0

In a game played in snowy, wet and cold conditions, the Medicine Hat College Rattlers overcame a 10 shot first half by the visiting Olds College Broncos and scored twice in the second half to win 2-0.  Rattlers goalkeeper Joao Bautista was outstanding in the first half as he stopped all ten shots fired on target by the Broncos.  His play helped keep the game even going into the break.  An early second half goal in the 46th minute by Albert Woodroofe-Brown gave the Rattlers a 1-0 lead.  In the 72nd minute the Rattlers were awarded a penalty shot and Woodroffe-Brown slotted it by keeper Ryan Murphy to extend the lead to 2-0.  Olds kept pushing forward but were unable to get one past Bautista.  With the win, the Rattlers moved into third place in the ACAC South Division with a 4-3-1 record.  The loss dropped Olds to 2-5-1.  The player of the game for the visiting Broncos was #4 Landon Murphy and for the Rattlers it was #15 Matt Wilson.
