Rattlers and Kodiaks play to a 1-1 tie

In an exciting back and forth match, the Medicine Hat College Rattlers and the Lethbridge College Kodiaks played to a 1-1 draw on a rain soaked afternoon in Medicine Hat.  Travelling down the number 3 highway for a rivalary showdown, the Kodiaks jumped out in front in the 36th minute as Jimmy Bukuru scored giving Lethbridge the 1-0 lead.  As the rain bega to pur down on the players and the nearly 200 fans in attendance, the score remained the same into halftime.  The rain continued to fal ass the second half got underway.  The home team kept pressing forward and were rewarded with an equalizer in the 60th minute by Mike Gurski.  As the game continued in a back and forth manner, the sun finally made an appearance.  With both teams playing down a man, the game ended in a 1-1 tie.  The draw moved Lethbridge to a 1-1-1 record after 3 games while the Rattlers moved to 2-1-1 on the season.  The player of the game for Lethbridge was #19 AJ Smith-Meadus and for the Rattlers it was #14 Connor Ismond.
