Locked up at Zero after the first half

It was dinner time start for the Wolves Men. A few hundred fans took to the bleachers to watch the Wolves take on the Eagles in their Home Opener. A rough and solid first half for both teams with zero scoring at either end. Both teams came out strong in the 2nd half, both hungry for that 1st goal. At the 77th minute John De-Mendoza put the ball in the net for KINGS. The game would remain a 1-0 score when the buzzer sounded at the 90th minute. Player of the Game for GPRC was awarded to #8 Pieter Boone, a 2nd year defenceman from Edmonton, AB. Player of the Game for the Eagles was awarded to the game winning goal scorer, John De-Mendoza. Both teams are back on Pomeroy field tomorrow afternoon.
