Sherwood Park, Alta. After day one of the 2017 ACAC Men's Soccer Championships it is the NAIT Ooks who made it out of the Quarter-Finals and into the Semi's.

The #2 NAIT Ooks knocked off the #3 Medicine Hat Rattlers 3-2 in the Quarter-Finals of the 2017 ACAC Men's Soccer Championships, at Emerald Hills Sports Pavillion in Sherwood Park.

Armando Garcia's goal in the 80th minute of the match proved to be the game winner, with Ali Musse adding two early goals. Rodrigo Tavares and Mark Elson responded for the Rattlers, but it was not enough. The Ooks outshout the Rattlers 7-4. 

United Cycle Player of The Game for the NAIT Ooks was Ali Musse, while Rodrigo Tavares earned the honours for the Rattlers.

With this win, the NAIT Ooks will advance to the Semi-Finals where they will face the #1 SAIT Trojans at 2:00 pm on Saturday.
