In what was the season opening game for both teams in ACAC conference play, the host Medicine Hat College Rattlers and the Lakeland College Rustlers played to a 0-0 draw.  While there might not have been any scoring, the game was an exciting back and forth affair.  Lakeland goalie Josh Hatzenbouler was called upon to make 10 saves while his Rattlers counterpart Devin Simon made 5 saves.  The player of the game for Lakeland was #31 Mark Anderson.  Mason Antler, #13 for Medicine Hat was the Rattlers player of the game.  Rattlers head coach Travis Hyde made his debut for the Rattlers as he leads the men this season.
