Central Division Futsal Competition

The last time these two teams met it ended in a 2-2 draw. Both teams were eager to see who was going to come out on top this time around. Again, it was the Pilots who hosted the Broncos at the Rick Down Athletic Centre on Prairie College campus. 

Like in the women's game, it was the Broncos who had the hot start, scoring in the initial moments. The rest of the first half showed tight defense play from both teams, with limited offensive chances. The Pilots had a hard time generating shots against the Broncos while the Broncos were able to find the back of the net two more times. The score at the half was 3-0 Broncos.

In the second half, both teams emphasized defensive play. The Pilots were limited in their offensive chances and Olds keeper Hoey was up the challenge when the shots got through. The Broncos were able to add to their lead as Rodriguez scored his second of the game and would eventually be named the player of the game for the Broncos. The final score was 4-0 for Olds. The Pilots POG went to Ethan Stewart.
