Back to the Future Futsal IV. It was from 2012-to-2015 that the Keyano College Huskies kicked off against the Lakeland College Rustlers for Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) Futsal Men’s supremacy.

The hosts hoped a little home court magic would help them on the way to an upset – instead, the Keyano Huskies showed the skill that earned them top spot in their pool and earned their way to the gold medal game.

The Olds Broncos looked unbeatable throughout the round robin, but Lakeland College proved anything can happen on the court. The Rustlers offense came in waves and goalie Zach Wagner stood tall in net as Lakeland pulled off a 5-4 upset to advance to the ACAC championship game.

When both goalies are named players of the game, you know what sort of match it was. Ambrose and UAA were both fighting to avoid elimination and the intensity matched the stakes, as Ambrose took a hard-fought 2-1 win.
