NAIT’s Colton Waltz Named 2019-20 Men’s Hockey Top Scholastic Achiever
Edmonton, AB (March 20, 2020) – The Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) is proud to announce Colton Waltz of the NAIT Ooks as the 2019-20 ACAC Men's Hockey Top Scholastic Achiever.
Colton, who hails from Vermillion, AB, obtained a 3.9 in the Landscape Architectural Technology program at NAIT during the first semester. The Ooks captain is currently in his fourth year of eligibility.
Colton was also selected to the ACAC 1st team All-Conference, and honoured as an ACAC Academic All-Canadian.
"Colton is a model student athlete. He exhibits professionalism both in the classroom and on the ice. He enjoyed a career year in every statistical category which helped lead our team to a successful season," said Tim Fragle, NAIT men's hockey head coach.
The award was not presented due to COVID-19 canceling the remainder of the ACAC playoffs.
