Jake Mykitiuk Honoured as 2017-18 Men’s Hockey Top Scorer

Edmonton, March 14, 2018 – The Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) is pleased to announce that Jake Mykitiuk of the NAIT Ooks men's hockey team, has been named the 2017-18 ACAC Men's Hockey Top Scorer. 

Jake's play this season helped lead the NAIT Ooks to a 1st place regular season finish in the ACAC.  Mykitiuk, a 2nd year Business Administration student from St. Albert, AB., led the league in scoring, with 42 points (15 goals and 27 assists).

NAIT Ooks men's hockey head coach Tim Fragle had the following to say about his student-athlete.  "Jake has had an exceptional year in many areas of his game and his offensive production helped lead our team to a successful regular season. He was a part of many of our team's keys goals this regular season including game tying, game winning and overtime winning goals. Jake's confidence grew as the season progressed thus helping him receive the honor of the league's Top Scorer award."
