Rustlers Vs. Ooks

The Lakeland Rustlers take on the NAIT Ooks tonight at 8 pm at Lakeland College. The Rustlers and Ooks start off the game neck and neck with points going back and forth between both teams. The Ooks scored many points from outside the arc while the Rustlers hustled to get many looks from inside. Ending the first quarter, the Ooks were up 18-19. However, entering the second quarter, the Rustlers hustled to get some good looks on offence while cranking up the intensity on defence. At the half, the Rustlers took the lead 37-35. Going into the third quarter, the Rustlers and Ooks were still going neck and neck with both teams executing off of fast breaks and set offence. The Rustlers were able to clinch a small lead 60-53 at the end of the third quarter. Entering into the fourth quarter, the Ooks brought the intensity and kept training from behind. The Ooks clenched a one-point lead in the last ten seconds to bring the score to 73-74. The Rustlers, unfortunately, could not answer back and lost by one point in a nail-biter match.
