Wolves Concordia Thunder for a double header

GPRC Wolves welcomed the Concordia Thunder to their gym for their second home game of 2021. In front of a large crowd, the Wolves got ahead early and ended the first half 51:36. #13 Abdul Al-tamini scored 11 points for the Wolves. 2nd year forward, #20 Manny Iloka had 6 blocks in the first quarter.

#8 Christian Liwanag drains his 4th 3 pointer of the night, early in the third quarter, to put the Wolves up by 22 points. The Wolves continue to play tight defensive throughout the third quarter which leads to the Wolves going up by 22.

First points on the board in the forth quarter, #7 Arjun Dhaliwal for the Thunder. #5 Eric Fehr from the Wolves answers with a jump shot. #6 Bruce Beddoe drains a couple baskets and intersects a couple passes during his minutes in the fourth. The Thunder get on a roll and closed the gap at 12. It wasn't enough as the Wolves went on to win 93:77

Player of the Game for the Concordia Thunder was #6 Nick Murschell.

Player of the Game for the GPRC Wolves was #20 Manny IIoka.

Wolves are back in action tomorrow at 1pm against the Concordia Thunder.
