Rustlers Pull Off Comeback

The Lakeland welcomed NAIT Ooks on Friday, October 20th. Lakeland faced a tough night the day before but was hungry to fight back. Lakeland came out with a one-point lead heading into the second quarter with a score of 18-17, thanks to the help of Adrian Richards. However, this wouldn't faze the seasoned NAIT Ooks. NAIT scoring 41 in the half put them in the lead heading into the 3rd quarter with a score of 41-33. With large help from Hugo Cluysen and Sean Micheal Clancey the Ooks would continue there offensive pushes keeping the lead 59-53. The Rustlers were down but not out though, with a team rally they were able to push the Ooks and get the game within distance. Ricardo Joseph and Kwantez Simmons would help the rustlers ultimatley push back against NAIT and take the game in a thrilling 76-78. This moving Rustlers record to 1-1
