Clippers swept by Kings in the weekend

CARONPORT, SK- The Clippers and the King's faced off in the final game of the season Saturday afternoon, the score was 71-99.

Off the ball the Clippers came out hot against the King's, dominating the game early on. The score was 31-23 to finish the quarter. Big contributor to this success was #6 Nicholas Gregerson with 11 points and rebounds in the quarter. Unfortunately for the Clippers this would be the last quarter they would have a lead. The Kings came out hot in the second quarter picking up their game taking the score to 45-48 into halftime. 

With a whole half left to play, this was still anyone's game, but the King's decided this would be theirs, due to a huge team effort they outscored the Clippers 11-23 in the third quarter alone. Finishing the quarter 56-71.

Into the final quarter of play was the King's, still dominating, #13 Barzin Eskandarkhah being a huge asset to his team, scoring 22 points and 4 rebounds alone in the second half. The game came to a finish at 71-99 with a Kings win. 

Player of game for the Clippers was Richard Wendel in his final game as a Clipper, he finished off with 3 rebounds. For the King's #13 Barzin Eskandarkhah was huge for the Kings, scoring 22 points and 4 rebounds.
