Wolves host The Kings University College for a pair of games this weekend. This will be the last games of the season for the Wolves. In front of a full house the Wolves were ready to end it with a W. Adrenaline Cheer Team entered the crowd at half time. The Wolves also honoured the graduating players this evening.
The 1st quarter started all Wolves as they went on an 8-0 run. #10 Payton Tirrell had 12 points for the Wolves in the 1st quarter. The quarter ended 28-8 for the Wolves.
The Eagles scored 16 points in the 2nd quarter to the Wolves 8. #12 Joshua Hamilton for the Eagles lead the half with 12 points. The half ends Wolves up 36-24.
Wolves picked up the pace in the 3rd and scored 29 points. #5 Jonathan Mueller scored 7 points including 2 from behind the arch. The big quarter for the Wolves resulted in being up 65-38 with one quarter to play.
Both teams played hard down the stretch to end the game 81-58.
The Mr. Mikes Player of the Game for the Kings Eagles is #13 Craig Panek and from the GPRC Wolves #5, graduating player, Dane Philipenko.
Both teams are back in action tomorrow afternoon at 3pm.
