Wolves Host Lakeland for a second game of the weekend

Wolves looking to sweep the Rustlers on the weekend. They open the scoring and Lakeland responds. Early in the game Wolves are down 9-10. It was a game of fast breaks in the middle of the quarter. Lots of hustle on both sides ties up the game at 11. Both teams continue to sink the offensive and the quarter ends Wolves 22, Rustlers 20.

Lakeland is quick to score in the 2nd quarter and the Wolves are quick to respond. Game is tied at 25 with 7 minutes left to play. A technical foul on the Lakeland bench puts the Wolves up by one with a bucket from Logan Rempel. Logan Rempel drains a big 3 to put the Wolves up 2. #7 gets dish inside for Lakeland to tie the game back up at 31. A last second 3 point make puts Lakeland up 2 to end the first half. 45-43.

Lakeland controlled the offensive in the 3rd quarter putting up 22 points to the Wolves 15 points. The quarter ends the Rustlers up 67-58.

It was all Wolves to start the 4th quarter. They went on a 5-0 run to start the quarter before Lakeland called a timeout. Lakeland scores a couple quick ones out of the timeout. Wolves quick to respond by a bucket by Big Al. Lakeland still scoring, Wolves looking to stop the offensive. A few Wolves fouls results in a few made free throws. Lakeland goes up by 10 late in the 2nd half. Big Al responds with a big dunk and Wolves come within 6 points. It was an exciting 4th quarter when Logan Rempel was fouled on the 3 point line and the Wolves came with 2 points with 11 seconds left in the game. It wasn't quit enough as the Rustlers went onto to wiin 88-84.

The Mr. Mikes Player of the game for the Lakeland Rustlers was #7 Abraham Murray with 12 points and 8 rebounds. For the GPRC Wolves #15 Alexandar Joseph with 18 points and 9 rebounds.
