Coming off their bye week, TKU Eagles were back in action at home versus the Keyano College Huskies. The Huskies who are third in the north division looked to get back to back wins coming into tonight's match.
In the first quarter, the Eagles wanted to make a statement and come out strong, but the Huskies athleticism and team play give them an early lead. In the second, the Huskies were able to open the game, as they outscored the Eagles 29-10 in the quarter. But in third, the Eagles came out strong and cut the Huskie lead, on the back of #13 Craig Panek's shooting, who went 4/4 FG and 3/3 from beyond the arc, in the quarter. In the final quarter, the Huskies were able to hold on to their lead and ended up taking the game 77-61.
These two teams will play each other once more, tomorrow at 3pm, back at King's.
Player of the game:
TKU Eagles: #12 Joshua Hamilton
Keyano Huskies: #6 Jack Redden
