Ooks Come Out On Top In ACAC Tournament #2

EDMONTON, ALTA. - ACAC Badminton Tournament #2 was held at NAIT on Sunday. For a second straight tournament, it was the Ooks who came out on top in team points.
NAIT finished in first place with 183 points, second place was the Concordia Thunder with 131, third was King's at 114 and Olds finished fourth with 84 points.
Despite winning the team event for the second consecutive tournament, it was the Concordia Thunder who stole the spotlight in individual competition, placing first in three of five events (mixed doubles, men's doubles, and women's singles). NAIT took home a first-place finish in women's doubles along with placing second in every event. The Ook also added four third-place finishes. The next ACAC badminton tournament will be held at Olds College on February 3rd.
